Facilities in the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

At present the ULPGC meets all the necessary requirements to successfully provide optimal services and facilities in administration and teaching.

Classrooms: As well as the rooms available for general use, our building has several classrooms for the exclusive use of the Faculty. Each of them has capacity for 25 to 69 students.

Computing classrooms: Both of our Translation and Interpreting degrees have three computing classrooms. Two of them have 25 and 15 computers to be used for teaching. There is also another classroom with capacity for 40 students that can be used by all the students that are registered in any of the degrees that the faculty offers. There is also free access to wifi throughout the building and in all communal areas.

Interpreting classroom: The interpreting classroom, essential to this degree, has been recently improved and modernized.

Audiovisuals: The audiovisuals room has been specially designed for this purpose and has a capacity for 55 people.

Plans for the future: The construction of the new Humanities building is planned. This will improve and further modernize the current facilities of the Faculty.
